My reasoning for deploy change, besides aligning with ogame, deploys are an important escape method when you're being hunted. what if someone has bigger faster fleet in system and your fleet is on a planet for some reason. just going to your own moon can be forced recalled, sniff the recall time and blind phalanx back. you can get ships and res out of a planet without the task of goign to your moon first. deploy is a 1-way cloaked transport mission when sent to a moon that stays alive.

i dont know when the relocate cooldown was put in, before a few months ago. recently we put in an attack cooldown for newly created planets and moons.

I've read the combat code, here's what i see... ============= units are grouped by acs fleet then by type; a group is all units of one fleet of one type. add up each group's total weapons, shield, armor. adjust attack of each group by a random modifer between 80% and 120%. damage is pooled together for att side and def side, but it knows the pecentage that came from each unit type. damage is split up to the different groups by ship count (1 ship = 1 ship). I jsut gained about 35 levels to deut production. its the last tech i made, but i had the page loaded when it finished and i watched it. something isnt getting deleted. and in an immediate sense, halp (uni8, should be level 65)

after you submit a form i believe you can kill the browser tab and refresh a different tab. maybe give it a few sec first. imo, the white screens and auto refreshing is the biggest weakness in the site right now.

I authored the new combat storage. its all about fixing bottlenecks to help the game handle growth. any amount of CRs we have probs wont affect performance. However CRs in system get deleted: all sims after 3 days. non-sim CRs after 60 days, but top 1,000 TD attacks each uni are never deleted and can be linked to anytime later.

planet search lets you find targets and get to the action fast. makign it MORE available might be wise (ie cheaper/free). I dont want to hide out in some vast galaxy. I want to be found. Action is good. ADDED: i can understand making your own galaxy maps and sharing maps. the search removes this aspect of the game.
